The People Behind Eco

Cory Hesseltine is the owner of Eco Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Air and has dedicated his career to changing the perception of the skilled trades. With decades of experience building high-performing service organizations, Cory is passionate about developing leaders, creating exceptional customer experiences, and proving that blue-collar careers can provide purpose, opportunity, and long-term success.

Known for his relentless drive for improvement, Cory has built a culture centered on accountability, growth, and serving others. He believes great companies succeed by investing in their people, embracing innovation, and delivering an unmatched customer experience. Under his leadership, Eco has become a leader in adopting AI, digital marketing, and modern technology to better serve homeowners while creating meaningful career paths for its team members.

Outside of work, Cory enjoys endurance racing, strength training, and competing in events such as HYROX and off-road motorcycle races. He is continually challenging himself to grow both personally and professionally and is committed to helping others become the best version of themselves.

When he's not working or training, you'll likely find him spending time with Mongo—his furry, four-legged best friend and beloved ‘son.’ Mongo is a constant companion, a source of daily joy, and an important part of Cory's life, reminding him to appreciate the simple moments and the value of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love.

Christine serves as the Internal Operations Manager at Eco Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Air, where she leads the teams and systems that help deliver an exceptional customer experience from the first phone call to the completion of every service.

Christine combines strategic thinking with operational excellence to help Eco continue growing while maintaining the high standards clients expect. She oversees marketing, customer experience, recruiting, and internal operations, focusing on building scalable systems, improving communication, leveraging technology, and developing strong teams. With a passion for leadership and continuous improvement, Christine believes that great service begins long before a technician arrives at a customer's home.

Originally from Orange County, California, Christine now lives in the Seattle area with her husband and their Miniature Schnauzer, Domino.

Jevon is a proud Michigan native who cut his teeth managing teams at a Fortune 500 company before joining Eco in 2020. He started as our Electrical Service Manager and now serves as External Operations Manager. A natural leader and visionary, Jevon's superpower is growing people/teams and bringing out the best in those people.

Josh grew up in Oregon and made his way to Seattle after graduating from college. Before joining Eco Services, he worked as a recruiting lead, bringing a sharp eye for talent and team-building to everything he does. Now three years into his time at Eco, Josh started as our Electrical Service Manager and today oversees our HVAC department. A strong operator and executor, Josh is known for his genuine care for his team and his passion for helping both people and the business grow.

Vince is a seasoned HVAC technician with 6 years of experience servicing thousands of homes across Seattle, dedicated to keeping residents comfortable year-round while enjoying Pacific Northwest hikes in his downtime.

Kalvin joined Eco in 2024 as a Service Manager after more than a decade in sales leadership. Known for his phenomenal people skills, Kalvin leads with a simple commitment: grow your team and always do the right thing.

Matt is a lifelong plumber with 20+ years in residential plumbing and the go-to guy for our toughest plumbing challenges. He oversees and trains our technician team, passing decades of hands-on expertise on to the next generation. Off the clock, you'll find him at the hockey rink with his kids or out on the boat.

James brings more than 25 years of experience in the electrical trade and has proudly called the Seattle area home throughout his life. Over the course of his career, he has served as a foreman, lead estimator, and project manager, giving him a deep understanding of nearly every aspect of the electrical industry.

James is one of the most knowledgeable and talented electrical professionals you will ever meet. During his years with Eco, he has completed numerous leadership and personal-development programs, continually investing in his ability to grow both personally and professionally.

He thrives when he is developing people, building strong teams, and helping others reach their full potential. His leadership is grounded in service, experience, and a genuine commitment to the success of those around him.

Outside of work, James is an avid football and rugby fan.

Shane is a family man through and through, and an electrician who genuinely loves his trade. Always studying the code book, he's earned the nickname “the code book nerd” around the shop — when there's a question about doing it right, Shane has the answer. At home, he's surrounded by his other loves: his horses, dogs, and cats.

Nate is the fun, outgoing energy on every job site. A commercial electrician with 10 years of experience, he's an Eco original — starting out in the warehouse and working his way up to lead electrician. Nate's journey from the ground floor to leading crews is the Eco growth story in action.
