Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 24, 2026

Eco Electric, Plumbing, Heating And Air (“Eco Electric, Plumbing, Heating And Air,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through ecoserviceswa.com and our related sales, scheduling, and service interactions (the “Services”), how we use and share it, the technologies we use, and the choices and rights you have. By using our Services, you agree to this Policy.

1. Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies to personal information we collect online through our website and forms, and offline when you call us, request an estimate, or receive service. It does not apply to third-party websites or services we do not control, or to information handled under a separate written agreement that says otherwise.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Identifiers & contact data — name, phone number, email, and home/service address.
  • Service & transaction details — the equipment, problem, or project you describe; appointment history; and records of estimates, work performed, and payments (payment card data is processed by our payment/financing providers, not stored by us).
  • Communications — the content of forms, emails, chats, and texts you send us, and notes from phone calls.
  • Device & usage data — IP address, device and browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and interactions, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Approximate location — derived from your IP address or the service address you provide.
  • Information from third parties — our scheduling/CRM system, call- tracking and analytics providers, financing partners, advertising platforms, and review services.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we do not collect “consumer health data” as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act in the ordinary course of our home-services business.

3. How we use your information

  • Respond to inquiries, provide estimates, and schedule and perform services.
  • Communicate about appointments, dispatch, service, billing, and support by phone, email, and — with your consent — text message.
  • Process financing requests through our third-party lending partners.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and Services.
  • Measure marketing performance and understand how our site is used.
  • Send promotional communications where permitted (you may opt out at any time).
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and agreements.

4. Cookies & tracking technologies

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies that fall into a few categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function (e.g., security, form submission, and bot protection such as Google reCAPTCHA).
  • Performance & analytics — help us understand usage (e.g., Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager).
  • Functional — remember preferences and improve your experience.
  • Advertising — measure and improve campaigns and may be set by advertising partners.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, and use a browser-based Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where available. Disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

5. SMS / text messaging

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send recurring transactional and, with separate consent, promotional text messages. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for full details.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may disclose information to:

  • Service providers / processors who act on our behalf (scheduling/CRM, hosting, communications, payments, analytics, call tracking) under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Financing partners when you request financing.
  • Advertising & analytics partners — limited online identifiers may be shared for measurement and cross-context behavioral advertising, which some state laws treat as a “sale” or “share.” You may opt out (see Section 8).
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting, insurance) as needed.
  • Legal & safety — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, property, and safety.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Mobile/SMS opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described above.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents may request to know, access, correct, and delete personal information; opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and designate an authorized agent. We do not sell personal information for money. You also have the right to appeal a decision on your request.

Washington. We do not collect or process “consumer health data” under the Washington My Health My Data Act. If that ever changes, we will provide a separate Consumer Health Data Privacy notice and obtain any required consent.

Other states. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas) may have similar rights. Contact us and we will honor applicable rights.

8. Your choices & how to submit a request

  • Marketing: opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link, and texts by replying STOP.
  • Cookies/ads: use your browser controls and a GPC signal.
  • Rights requests: email csr@ecoserviceswa.com or call (206) 970-1031.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 45 days, with one permitted extension).

9. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal, tax, accounting, warranty, and dispute-resolution obligations, and for legitimate business purposes. Retention periods vary by the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected; when no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

10. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

11. Children’s privacy

Our Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links & services

Our site may link to or embed third-party services (maps, financing widgets, review feeds, social media). We do not control those services, and their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

13. Automated decision-making

We do not use your personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement.

14. Out-of-state & international users

Our Services are intended for users in the United States and are operated from Washington. If you access them from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Effective date” above, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
