Dedicated Appliance Circuits

When a big appliance shares a circuit, everything on that circuit suffers — trips, flickers, and stressed wiring. Eco installs dedicated circuits for the loads that need their own: ranges, dryers, EV chargers, workshop tools, hot tubs, and heat pumps. Each circuit is sized to the appliance, run cleanly, and protected correctly at the panel.

Dedicated Circuits FAQs

Which appliances need a dedicated circuit?

Ranges, ovens, dryers, water heaters, EV chargers, hot tubs, heat pumps, and most fixed appliances with significant draw — plus anything whose manufacturer specs call for one. If a single appliance keeps tripping a shared breaker, that's the classic sign.

Can you add a dedicated circuit to an older panel?

Usually — if the panel has space and capacity. We check both first, and if the panel is full, a sub-panel or tidy upgrade path gets you there safely.

Why are my lights dimming when the microwave runs?

That's a shared circuit straining under a heavy load. A dedicated circuit for the appliance stops the dimming and, more importantly, stops the heat stress on the shared wiring.

Is this permitted work?

Yes — new circuits are permitted, inspected electrical work, and we handle both so the installation is documented and safe.
