Creating a Healthier Home, System by System
A healthy home is not one purchase. It is a handful of systems doing their jobs together: air that is filtered, exchanged, and held at the right humidity; water that is clean at every tap; and safety devices that catch the hazards you cannot sense. In the Puget Sound climate, moisture connects almost all of it. What actually makes a home healthy?
Strip away the marketing and four things remain. First, the air: what is floating in it, how often it gets exchanged, and how much water vapor it carries. Why is moisture the master variable here?
